We engaged the little ones in practicing Lunar New Year greetings, teaching them proper etiquette for receiving red packets and respectful ways to greet their elders.

Through this poem, children can familiarise themselves with the customary items used during the festivities and gain insight into the significance of celebrating Lunar New Year.

Remember to receive red packets with both hands!
Receiving red packets with both hands is a sign of respect and gratitude in many Asian cultures, particularly during special occasions like Lunar New Year. It shows appreciation for the gift and acknowledges the giver with respect. Additionally, using both hands signifies attentiveness and sincerity in receiving the gesture, making it a culturally appropriate and polite practice.
